Repair Leaking Pipes & Drain Lines

Make sure that your pipe leak detection and your pipe leak repair are handled by a licensed plumber who’s also an emergency plumber in case you need help in the middle of the night, on a holiday or during the weekend. Vassars Service of Richmond is here to plug the leak and make sure your home does not suffer any more damage than absolutely necessary. Pipe leaks can sometimes be challenging to find, and even when you think you have found the source of the problem there might be another plumbing problem that needs to be taken care of.

Causes of Pipe Leaks

There are a number of reasons you might need plumbing leak detection and pipe leak repair, including:

  • Clogged toilets and drains. Chances are good you have a clog when your sinks and toilets start to drain slower than they usually do. If those clogs are not taken care of properly, they can lead to leaks
  • Shifting/Aging Pipes. Old pipes simply don’t work as well as newer pipes. Rust and deterioration can lead to crevices and cracks, so have your pipes replaced if necessary to avoid having to call an emergency plumber.
  • Overflowing drainage pans. Your home’s HVAC system uses drain pans, which can overflow if you don’t keep a close eye on them
  • Sediment and rusting in water heaters. All of the plumbing that leads out of and into your water heater can start to break down and rust, which might require pipe leak detection or pipe leak repair. Should sediment ever get into the valves and filters of your water heater, they can become blocked.
